I'm From Wisconsin

Apparently I missed out during my childhood because my mother never took me to a dollar store before. Nineteen years old and I walked into my first dollar store the other day. How sad is that? *sob sob*

And who knew there was such diversity of products worth a dollar. They carried everything from frozen vegetables, party supplies, cat food to candy and even Bibles! It’s everything you ever wanted and needed, all nestled together under one roof. Forget shopping at Wal-Mart, the dollar store is where its at. 

My little cousins I was with could not contain their excitement when we walked in. To them it was the coolest place ever, how could all this stuff only be a dollar?! Everything is a dollar man!!! Of course they were limited to one thing, but that one thing quickly turned into two things and then three things. They just couldn’t make up their minds as to what they wanted. But I knew exactly what I wanted after finding the candy aisle. Boxes upon boxes of sugary goodness all neatly packaged for purchasing. It was heaven. 

Never will I forget my first experience at the dollar store. And if you’ve never been either, you really must go at least once. It’s practically a mandatory item on everyone’s bucket list.
