Joan Rivers is truly the best. Not only is she still wildly entertaining after all these years, everything she speaks to is poised with unapologetic truth. That is something fellow female contemporaries like Kathy Griffin and Margaret Cho lack. The film, Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, opens June 11th. From the looks of the trailer it’ll be awesome.
She even mentions Wisconsin and the song “Gone Daddy Gone” by the Violent Femmes plays during the trailer!!! Joan Rivers will also be appearing at this year’s PrideFest in Milwaukee.
