At least four New Berlin West High School freshmen were involved in an underage drinking incident at field trip at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Among those ticketed by police is a 14-year-old who had to be taken to the hospital for intoxication after he passed out on a school bus.

While underage drinking is typically no laughing matter, in this scenario it’s hard not to laugh. Who gets wasted at the zoo? Seriously. I’m sure plenty of other students have tried replacing  water with an clear alcoholic substance many times, but they’re bound to get caught. And this particular student had the unfortunate pleasure of learning this lesson the hard way. So the next time you want to get drunk on a school field trip, think twice!!!
